Leah was planning a family reunion in Port Townsend and contacted me after a referral from a mutual friend. Their family gathered from all over the country at the Blue Mountain Retreat in Port Townsend. If you haven’t ever heard of this place, you HAVE to check it out! I want to go and stay there just for fun even though I’m a local! It is the most gorgeous house that is made over to be like the Mecca of family fun! Think giant basement with floor hockey and a giant room filled to the brim with legos! Anyway, I digress.

Leah has the most amazing (and huge) family! Scroll to the end to see the whole troop! I was SO worried when I heard how big the group was, but they made it so easy. Actually a few times they made it hard to stop shaking and get a picture in focus because they were making me laugh so hard. So I take it back. They made it easy for the most part and hilarious when it wasn’t easy. As the whole group was getting ready, I grabbed Leah and her family for a quick mini session of their own. And because everyone was so cooperative, I was able to take each family aside and do the same after the large group pictures! But I’ll save those for a later date! This family mini session has me wanting to do an entire lifestyle session in a hammock. Any takers on that???
