I met Erin for the first time a few years ago at a wedding that I was shooting where she was a bridesmaid. The biggest thing that I remember from the wedding day with her was that she was super chill and drama free which is a quality I always appreciate. And, I did a double take when she sat down to get her hair and makeup done because she looked like she had just gotten it done. Seriously.

Anyway, fast forward a couple of years and it is so cute to see Erin and Rob as a family of three. My favorite type of family shoot is where the parents are relaxed and ready to have fun, and that is exactly what happened here. I seriously couldn’t even stop smiling while I was editing this session just because they are so cute together and you can see the love that they have for each other radiating out of these images! I just love how their genuine happiness really shows!

As a side note, I get questions all the time about what to wear for a family session. I just wanted to point out that they really nailed that here. Mostly solids, a little bit of pattern, some texture, simple color scheme that doesn’t feel too matchy.
