Seattle Vintage Styled Wedding | Seattle Wedding Photographer

In September, I put together a styled shoot at a gorgeous little studio in Pioneer Square in Seattle. For anyone who hasn’t heard of a styled shoot, it is an opportunity for vendors (in this case wedding vendors) to get together and showcase their work and make connections in the industry. I don’t think I quite realized just how much effort goes into putting one together, but it gave me more empathy for what all of you brides are going through in planning your own wedding day! (As a side note, yes I am married, but I was pretty relaxed about my own wedding and had lots of help from family and friends.) I LOVED the opportunity to get to know more wedding vendors and I LOVED the outcome of everyone working together. One crazy thing that happened was that the couple that I had scheduled to model ended up not being able to come…with about 24 hours notice. It was totally understandable because the bride model had a medical emergency (she’s okay!) but it sure was crazy trying to find a new bride and groom model and a dress. The first model actually called around to a bunch of friends and acquaintances, and that’s how we ended up with these two! Spencer and Shelby were amazing. They are obviously both gorgeous and so sweet. They even gave up a weekend vacation to come and help! I would highly recommend any and all of the vendors that worked with me on this shoot!
